Christianity and the Post-Christian World

$50.00

Since the time Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire in the 4th century, the Christian worldview formed the basic assumptions of Western society and culture. Beliefs in God’s existence, objective morality, eternity of souls, sin and others, were simply the air you breathed. Today, we live in a Post-Christian world. Christian beliefs and values are no longer the dominant view, but at best – are only just one of many beliefs in a crowded marketplace of ideas, and at worst – are opposed with hostility. How did we get here? What has changed? What are the main features of a Post-Christian world? Where do we go from here? In light of this, how do we understand ourselves, vocations, evangelism, the role of Church as we live in the world and be not of it?

About the Teacher

My name is Eugene Terpay and I believe that a resurrected King is the biggest deal in the Universe. I came to the US from Ukraine when I was eight years old, and have lived in Seattle since then. I have been married to my best friend Albina for eight years and have three wonderful boys. I enjoy reading, watching sports, wrestling my boys, and talking Bible while sipping coffee.
