Colossians is a small and fascinating letter written by Paul to a church in Colossae. Some of the Bible’s best writings about the supremacy of Jesus is found in Colossians. This is because Paul is showing how extensive Jesus’s reign truly is. Jesus is king over all. In this course we will see how Paul’s teaching about Jesus as King pertains to suffering, the cultural pressures Christians face, and legalism. Students will find that Colossians, although an ancient text, is extremely relevant to all believers who desire to live into the new reality that is theirs in Christ!
