Books of the Minor Prophets.
The books of the Old Testament consist of thirty-nine books, twelve of which are commonly called “books of minor prophets.” Minor not because the prophets who wrote them are lower than the “major prophets,” but because of the volume of the text. All twelve books of minor prophets are equal in volume to one book of Isaiah.
The books of minor prophets cover the history of Judah and Israel over five hundred years – from Solomon to the prophet Malachi. These books show how God suffers when people leave the Law of God. The books of minor prophets show God’s reaction to the sins of people and the desire to save man. These books were relevant not only in the past, but are practical for us today.

Pastor Vasiliy has worked with youth and adults of all ages for over 20 years.
He graduated from Bible College in Kiev, Ukraine and is currently serving as a pastor at Bethany Church in Seattle downtown.
He has taught at Slavic Bible College over the past 20 years and is an assistant to the bishop of WA state as well as youth pastor for the state of Washington.
